Siemens is developing its app on mobile. Upgraded MC from GstarCAD was released, just name few. The companies who already launched their mobile apps are improving their products and companies who haven’t are developing. Is it relating to the recently statements (From Eric Jackson’s article that Google and Facebook might completely disappear in the next 5 years.) that the third generation will be Mobile?

hello everyone, i need to design a small conveyor (5m) which is able to move back and forward and precisely stop in predetermined positions. it needs to be able to weight the product it carries.
the systems works as follow:
1. a bucket is placed on the conveyor which then moves to predetermined positions along its length so that a predetermined quantity of material (powder) can be placed inside the bucket (this is why the conveyor system needs to have an integrated scale).
what type of mechanism can i use to move the conveyor. i cannot use the traditional belt conveyor.
i can buy a scale unit off the shelf but how can i move it back and forward?
what type of drive/motor would be most suitable for this type of operation (i need to change its direction and speed easily so that i can accurately move the scale)?
thanks,

Hi,

I came across an engine performance graph as attached:

I have basically two questions looking at that:

To do any engine testing we keep some parameter constant - May be throttle position or applied load (torque) or speed or power. What is kept constant for this test?

In the torque Vs. engine speed curve, till 1750 rpm (approx.) the speed appears to be rising. I am little confused here. If torque rises, it means the load on the engine climbs up. Thus, should it not result in drop of the speed instead of rising?

I have these questions unresolved for long. Pl help. Thanks.

I am totally new to CAD softwares. I am going start learn CAD very soon and wanted to ask you guys which CAD software shall I start learning from, or which is better to learn and would be better for my future engineering careers. Is it SolidWorks or Catia? or if you anyone knows any better software please let me know.
And can please someone explain the difference between them too, i googled CAD and came across these two, not sure which one is better and why. Will appreciate your help :)
